I saw this ad on a car parts Facebook group I'm a part of. Cool transformation, right?
Naw.
If we expand the photos, we notice something odd...Look at the lower bumper here.
Now look at it in this shot. Notice the center section? It's not from the same year. And different mirrors as well.
So yeah, obvious faker is obvious.

IDK if obvious faker. it did say the car was going in for bodywork. maybe the bumper and the mirros got replaced.

But who replaces a mirror?

if the actual mirror portion is broken and they only found a set of mirrors with the casing, i would do that.
and with how beat up the rets of the car is, i wouldnt be surprised tbh

Someone who got sideswiped? Or has an old mirror with a chip in it. Or hell it could have just started rusting and not be adjusting well.
It's an old car. Shit breaks and needs replacing.

Looks like the same wheels, and maybe he upgraded to folding mirrors?

Devil's advocate: These cars are like legos - it's entirely possible to update/backdate for pennies on the dollar. You can quickly tell that the original shot does not feature an OEM bumper to begin with - it's missing INTEGRA under the front driver's headlight.

Has the sunroof vanished as well? For improved stiffness?

I know this car too intimately well. The first pic has aftermarket mirrors, side skirts, and front lip. It is quite possible that the owner wanted to go to a more OEM look so he/she sourced a '94/95 front bumper cover and some mirrors. Afterall, the bumper in the first pic looks quite damaged. But if he/she indeed wanted to go more OEM, why would they paint the front bumper grille? It should remain black. Also, with the older bumper cover they would have to source different turn signals. Another thing to note is that they have the same hubcaps. Those hubcaps weren't available on the 94'/95 Integras. So it's hard to say if it's the same car or not, but I wouldn't rule out the idea that it is indeed the same car.
